Bokeh Effect Oxides

Hey everyone. I've got a few blogs for you over today and tomorrow. Got a lot to catch up on. So lets get started with the first one. As always please leave comments and feel free to ask any questions.

What you'll need:

  • Sheena card, Black glitter card, Blue card, White card blank
  • Distress oxides - Iced Spruce, Broken China and Faded Jeans
  • Versafine Oynx Black
  • White acrylic paint
  • Circle stencil
  • Round blending tool and foam
  • Bee Crafty Laugh Live Dream stamp
  • Bee Crafty Delight stamp
  • Nuvo drops blue glitter and clear

Step 1:

Cut your Sheena card down to size. In random place blend all the oxides until the card is cover in all 3 colours. Once you're happy take your blending tool pick up some ink and just dab the ink on the card so it leaves you with a circle. Repeat with all the colours and overlap some of the circles.

Step 2:

Next take a circle stencil ( if you don't have one you can create your own buy cutting circles out with a die or circle cutter, on some card or acetate and do different sizes ), paint a thin layer of the white paint through the stencil and do the circles in different sizes and random places all over the back ground.

Step 3:

Once the paint is dry, ink up the laugh live dream stamp with versafine and stamp in the middle of the card. Mount the Delight stamp onto a block and mask off the most of the stamp and just leaving the swirly bits. Ink up with versafine and stamp all round the edge of the card.

Step 4:

Then matt the card onto some black glitter card and then layer with some dark blue card and adhere to your card blank. And to finish the card off add some of the nuvo glitter drops and the clear drops randomly over the card and leave to dry.

And that's it. Hope you found this easy to follow, and inspires you to create.

Until next time
